Internet Marketing – My Hobby, My Living, My Addiction

 

 
I started this journey of internet marketing in October 2007.  I was, at first, an abysmal failure.  Through sheer stubborness, I made it to the other side.  I’m a successful full time internet marketer now, thanks to Kyle and Carson who put up with me over at Wealthy Affiliate University while I went through my learning curve.

Now I love making my living online.  Here are what I think the seven biggest advantages of internet marketing are.

#1Anyone can succeed

It doesn’t take any special skills besides the desire to learn, and the willingness to work.

#2. It‘s a real way to make money

Marketing is as old as the hills, and while there are a lot of scammy things online, if you learn how to effectively market, you can make really good money online.

#3. It doesn’t cost a lot to get started

Traditional businesses require a ton of start up capital.  MLM companies require pitching your friends and family (YUCK!).  Starting a business online costs only a few hundred dollars (at most) and your time.  You can actually get started for free, but it is better to have a little seed money.

#4. When you get good, you can kiss your boss goodbye.

I did this in June 2008.  I left my day job as a manager, and now only work out of the house about 3 to 6  hours a week (I need the people contact).   My online living is my income, and I wouldn’t trade this life for my old one, ever.

#5. You can work in your pajamas.

If you don’t know anyone who does this, now you do.  I work in my pajamas at least 2 or 3 days a week.  It’s fun, and I can, so why not?

#6. You have control of your life.

This is a big one for me.  I am kind of a control freak, and I HATE having a boss.  So working for myself is a big deal.

#7.  You decide how much money you’ll make.

If you become a really good internet marketer, there is really very little stopping you from making as much money as you want.
