Website Promotion Exercise – Getting Good At Ranking In The Google SERPS

2

The Challenge

Mark – the creator of WordPress Goldmine – recently challenged the members of his forum (which is included for free with the WordPress Goldmine purchase) to a website promotion exercise to see who could get a phrase ranked in the first 10 of the Google SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages) the fastest.

Of course, since I am very, very, very, crazily competitive I joined immediately.  The keyword that we are trying to rank for is "website promotion exercise".   This is my first post to try to rank for that specific keyword.  I will be writing articles and building Web 2.0 properties that link to this page to see if I can get this page to rank the way I want it to.

It used to be that you could just build a webpage around a certain keyword phrase and stay in Google forever for that phrase, but now you usually have to build back links back to your site as well.  This is not to say that it is not worth the effort.  It certainly is.  After all, what else besides affiliate marketing can you do with so little start up costs and get income that can kill a day job?

Totally off subject…  I thank God every day that I get to work at home, and can be there after school when my beautiful daughters get home.  The internet is awesome.

I’ll share with you what I do as I’m doing it in this challenge.  May the best person win the website promotion exercise!

Heather

P.S. I highly recommend WordPress Goldmine it is worth every penny.  Mark way overdelivers and if you decide to buy through this link I will send you the spreadsheet that I have developed to promote and track the promotion of my WP blogs.  Just email me your clickbank receipt at contact@myworkathomeblog.net and I’ll send it right to you.

Just so you know two weeks after starting this system I had 4 sales from 4 blogs in 4 days.  It is powerful stuff.
